Who we are

Noonvibe (noonvibe.com) is an independent website that publishes guides, comparisons, and tutorials about AI-assisted software development — in particular the Windsurf IDE and its Cascade AI agent.

Our relationship with Windsurf

Noonvibe participates in the Windsurf Referral Program operated by Windsurf, Inc. (a brand of Cognition AI, Inc.). When you click a referral link on this site and subsequently upgrade to a paid Windsurf plan, we receive a $10 bonus in extra AI usage credits on our own Windsurf account. You also receive $10 in extra AI usage applied to your account.

This is a standard referral arrangement — not a traditional cash commission. Neither party receives cash; both parties receive usage credits within the Windsurf platform.

How to identify referral links

All outbound links to Windsurf on this site route through noonvibe.com/go/windsurf-trial, which redirects to Windsurf's website with our referral code appended. These links carry the rel="sponsored" HTML attribute as required by Google's webmaster guidelines. They are also marked with an asterisk (*) and the text "Affiliate disclosure." next to every call-to-action button.

Does this affect our editorial content?

No. Noonvibe's opinions, comparisons, and recommendations are based on our own use of the products described. We only link to products we genuinely use and recommend. The existence of a referral relationship does not influence which features we highlight, which competitors we compare, or what conclusions we draw.

If we ever stop recommending Windsurf, we will remove or neutralise the referral links before or at the same time as any negative editorial change.

Applicable regulations

This disclosure is made in compliance with:

  • US FTC 16 CFR Part 255 — Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (updated 2023), which requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of any material connection between an endorser and a brand.
  • EU Directive 2005/29/EC (Unfair Commercial Practices Directive) and national implementations thereof, which require that commercial intent be clearly disclosed to consumers.
  • UK CAP Code (Committee of Advertising Practice), which requires that advertising and affiliate content be obviously identifiable as such.
